I do sometimes wonder what on earth we are all doing in our little shops. I wonder if the high street should consist of a three day week? If so can I go home now please! We have such lovely stuff, such superb artists, and a real creative thing going on. C'MON!!!!!!! make me work for it!!!!

I am always utterly impressed when artists take their skills to new territory and that is what Lucianne Lassalle has done in t he last year with her ceramics. These are a perfect medium for her superb drawings. The show SCULPTOR AND PAINTER LUCIANNE LASSALLE AND THORIE HINDS is a charismatic mix of paintings and sculpture and worth a visit!!!! Lucianne Lassalle is the consummate artist - her figurative sculptures are unflinching and uncompromising, confidently challenging us with a dynamic approach to the human form. Thorie Hinds' paintings resonate with the open spaces of her homeland, Canada, even though her subject matter is the South West UK. Big skies portrayed in all their glory.
