I am always utterly impressed when artists take their skills to new territory and that is what Lucianne Lassalle has done in t he last year with her ceramics. These are a perfect medium for her superb drawings. The show SCULPTOR AND PAINTER LUCIANNE LASSALLE AND THORIE HINDS is a charismatic mix of paintings and sculpture and worth a visit!!!! Upcoming exhibition at the bowie gallery - August 30- September 12. Lucianne Lassalle is the consummate artist - her figurative sculptures are unflinching and uncompromising, confidently challenging us with a dynamic approach to the human form. Thorie Hinds' paintings resonate with the open spaces of her homeland, Canada, even though her subject matter is the South West UK. Big skies portrayed in all their glory. UPCOMING EXHIBITION OF MICHAEL HONNOR'S WORK

the bowie gallery is excited about this upcoming show of work by painter and printmaker Michael Honnor.
A regular exhibitor with the Thackeray Gallery in London for 25 years, Michael is well known in the S W for his creation of the fantastic printmaking facility at Dartington, which he still runs with huge success.  He is also a marvellous painter,with work in many corporate collections world-wide.
